Every December, millions of families worldwide follow along as theNorth American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) tracks Santa’s(opens in a new window) journey across the globe. It is a tradition full of wonder, and this year we are excited to add a few new touches to help parents make the season feel even more magical.
As part of the annual NORAD Tracks Santa program, OpenAI worked with NORAD to create three simple holiday tools within ChatGPT that parents and Christmas enthusiasts can use to bring extra joy into their homes. These are intuitive, fun, and easy ways to add something special to the celebrations. These tools are included in NORAD’s holiday activities on the www.NORADSanta.org(opens in a new window) website.
🎄Elf Enrollment(opens in a new window)-A playful photo tool that turns someone’s picture into an “official” Santa’s helper. Parents can also create their own elf keepsakes at home.
🧸Santa’s Toy Lab(opens in a new window)-A tool that lets parents turn their child’s most imaginative toy ideas into a printable coloring book page. Parents describe the dream toy, and Santa’s Toy Lab turns it into simple line art that is perfect for coloring. It is a sweet option for crafts, stocking stuffers, or quiet moments in a busy December.
📖Christmas Story Creator(opens in a new window)-A playful, fill-in-the-blank style storytelling tool that lets families plug in names, places, and fun details to create a one-of-a-kind holiday tale to read aloud.
